In the light of the release of the Career Pathways Survey Report in October 2012, which examined the career decision-making process and influences of 2077 young people aged 16-24, BAFTA held a summit to discuss its findings.

The panel included:

- Saint John Walker: Head of Development at Creative Skillset

- Luke Hyams: Writer/director (Dubplate Drama) and Supervising Producer at The Hatch

- Daniel Kaluuya: Actor/writer (Skins) and BAFTA Brits to Watch honouree in 2011

- Sophia George: Chair, designer and artist at Swallowtail Games, winners of BAFTA Ones to Watch in 2012

- John Lees: Joint Chair of the Association of Career Professionals International UK (ACPi-UK)
