● 01:18 - Bair Hugger MDL - Joe Fantini discusses the Bair Hugger MDL, noting it was formed in 2016 and currently has almost 8,000 filed cases. The first bellwether trials are scheduled to begin in March 2025.
● 01:56 - Ozempic Litigation Updates on the Ozempic litigation reveal there are about 1,300 filed cases in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. A scheduling order related to the defendant's motion to dismiss has been issued, with a decision expected in early summer 2025. If the motion to dismiss is defeated, the litigation will move forward, with potential trials in 2026.
● 02:56 - Uber litigation, which has approximately 1,500 filed cases. Uber is fighting the consolidated actions, and a decision from the appellate court is pending. The first bellwether trials are expected to begin in the fall of 2025.
