Shani dissects the story focusing on how the author properly expressed the protagonist’s desires, the presentation of sex scenes, and the unpredictable twist at the end. She also highlights the areas where the novella mostly fell short: from having a boring and lengthy backstory that pushed her to fast-forward the book, the lack of grittiness on the protagonist’s part, to the rapid wrap-up of the story without providing a fulfilling ending.
