Ballet Fifth Position Feet

In ballet, fifth position feet turned out so that the heel of the front foot touches the toe of the back foot. The feet should form two parallel lines. The hips are rotated outwards in equal amounts.

Fifth Position High En Haut Arms

In ballet, the fifth position en haut is when the arms are extended above the head and slightly forward, with curved lines. Arms are raised almost vertically, but held slightly forward of the head. The elbows and wrists are slightly curved. The palms face inward.
