WHAT: The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Public Safety Team and leadership representing the entities helping to make Balloon Fiesta Park the safest place in New Mexico will provide a briefing. The briefing will address the issues of public safety, traffic and on-site preparedness.
WHO: The private, federal, state and local entities represented at Balloon Fiesta Park for the nine day event includes: The Balloon Fiesta Public Safety Team, Albuquerque Police Department, Albuquerque Fire Rescue, Bernalillo County Sheriff Office, New Mexico State Police, New Mexico Department of Public Safety, Rio Rancho Department of Public Safety, Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Marshal Service, Sandia Pueblo Police Department, Bernalillo Police Department, City of Albuquerque Parks and Recreation, City of Albuquerque Emergency Management, 64 CST-WMD, New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, United States Department of Homeland Security, United States Customs, New Mexico Mounted Search and Rescue, Bernalillo County Fire Department and other organizations.
