In the holy city of Varanasi, where death is considered a sacred release, a horrifying apocalypse is born. Freelance journalist Shaurya and his cameraman Sanjay arrive at the burning ghats to capture a story on the city's raw spirituality for their YouTube channel, "Kuch Ankahi Kahaniyaan."

But their project takes a terrifying turn when a ritualistic cremation goes horribly wrong. The dead rise from their funeral pyres, their bodies perpetually engulfed in flames, turning the sacred grounds into a hellscape of fiery, undead monsters.

The holy Ganges river, polluted with a toxic mix of chemicals and waste, becomes the source of the contagion, spreading the infection through its waters and the smoke from the burning bodies.

Now, Shaurya and Sanjay must fight for survival, navigating the labyrinthine alleys of a city swarming with burning zombies. As they battle the undead, Shaurya is also forced to confront the ghosts of his own past and a trauma that has haunted him for 15 years. Teaming up with a mysterious microbiologist and a classified military unit known as T.A.N.T.R.A., they uncover a shocking truth that blurs the line between ancient folklore and a terrifying scientific reality.

With the government preparing to wipe Banaras off the map with a nuclear strike, they are in a race against time to find the source of the outbreak and save the city from total annihilation.
