Banishing Negative Thoughts

In today's episode, I go over a few different techniques to help you banish negative thoughts from your head once and for all. You can find meditations on the Mindful Luna Podcast and Tanner Knight’s Music anywhere you listen to music. 

The following technique is taken from Alison's Book, and it's called "Banishing the Voices". All you have to do is take a few deep breaths and write down on a sheet of paper all the negative words that come to your mind when you approach your closet or search for an outfit. Once you have completed the exercise, you can dispose of the sheet in any way you prefer. I highly recommend trying this same exercise in any area of your life where you feel stuck. 

Victor’s book offers us even more techniques to help stop negative thought patterns. Here are some of the techniques I discuss: 

  • Make your thoughts into a rhyme 

  • Make a song with the contents of your thoughts

  • Think backwards 

  • Recite a prayer 

  • Go over the multiplication tables
