On Sunday, 26th October, Pastor Lynda Heron shared a powerful message on “Baptism”, drawing from Matthew 3:16–17, where Jesus is baptized and the heavens open, revealing the Father’s voice of approval.
Pastor Lynda reminded us that baptism is far more than a ritual — it’s a public declaration of an inward transformation. Just as Jesus’ baptism marked the beginning of His ministry, our baptism marks a new chapter of obedience, identity, and belonging in God’s family.
She encouraged us to live daily from the Father’s affirmation: “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” Every believer is called to walk in that same assurance — forgiven, accepted, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
It was a joyful and faith-filled service as we celebrated with those taking this important step of faith, witnessing the beauty of new life in Christ.
