Baptism of our Lord|| Sunday, January 13, 2019Readings: Isaiah 42:1-4, 6-7, Acts 10:34-28, Luke 15-16, 21-22Homily: Deacon Dan BrahierWater is a powerful symbol in the Gospels. Time and time again we hear of it's use: Jesus turns water into wine, Jesus walks on water, Jesus meets a women drawing water from from the well, water and blood flow from Jesus' side at the crucifixion...but perhaps the most significant use of water is at His baptism. Deacon Dan expands upon this idea and explains why baptism is still important today.
