Today we look at the ancient practice of baptism. During Jesus’Great Commission to his apostles, he commanded them to “Go and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” The early church then followed Jesus’ command and included baptism as an important part of new believers beginning their journey with Jesus. Today we will learn more about the significance of this ancient practice of baptism for our modern lives.
