Psalm 51 is David's Prayer of Forgiveness and Repentance. Although he desires to do good he fails and seeks God's wisdom as he tries again. David is asking for wisdom because he acted absolutely contrary to what God desires and to what God has been teaching him "in the inmost place." Our hope is in God as we plead for moral integrity, wisdom, purity and pardon.

In II Corinthians Jesus modeled generosity by being rich and yet becoming poor for our sake. Our desire to give must be lived out in our completion of giving according to our means. We cannot out give God!
