Baptism is a public declaration of the personal responsibility for sin committed and a declaration that Jesus Christ was killed for all sin, was buried in a tomb, rose again from the dead as Scripture predicted. We identify with Jesus Christ through baptism in burial of selfishness and raising in Christ a new creation.
