Water baptism  is a public declaration of our faith in Christ and serves as an outward testament to our commitment to follow Jesus. Unfortunately, it ends there for too many believers.  But it is the baptism with the Holy Spirt that provides the transformative power. 

To be baptized with the Holy Spirit is an entirely different ball game. Think about it, if God deemed it necessary for whatever reason to have the Holy Spirit descend on Jesus how much more do we need Him. We desperately need God’s Spirit to move us forward and accomplish His will for our lives. It is the Holy Spirit upon us that empowers us to stand against the enemies within and those without.
