The Christian life involves two distinct experiences with the Holy Spirit: salvation and the baptism with the Holy Spirit. Jesus commanded His disciples to wait for this power before witnessing, and even He depended completely on the Holy Spirit for His ministry. To receive this baptism, believers must set aside dedicated time for relationship with the Holy Spirit, expecting supernatural utterance including the gift of tongues. Removing spiritual distractions and focusing on knowing the Holy Spirit personally, rather than just His manifestations, leads to revelation knowledge and miraculous confirmation.
