In our noisy, distraction-filled world, many believers struggle to hear God's voice because they haven't learned to cultivate silence and solitude. The Holy Spirit speaks, but His still, small voice gets drowned out by constant noise from technology and entertainment. Jesus regularly separated Himself from crowds to spend time alone with the Father, which is why His spiritual hearing remained sharp. Beyond salvation, Scripture reveals a second experience called the baptism of the Holy Spirit, where the Spirit comes upon believers in power. To develop spiritual hearing and receive this baptism, we must intentionally create space for silence, ask the Father directly, and prioritize fellowship with the Holy Spirit over seeking manifestations.
