What-s the Bible say the point of baptism is- Those who believe upon him are formally enlisted and enrolled in the school of Christ by baptism. We start by obeying Him - following everything he taught which leads us out of temptation - into His light. Believing is more than saying you believe- your believing is observed in a changed life through obedience to Christ. Our actions reveal the condition of our heart- obedience to Christ shows faith in Christ. Disobedience reveals a heart that is not fully surrendered.
