Gender is something we do...all of us. We perform our gender in many ways and sometimes we make bargains with the system at play. This is called Patriarchal Bargaining. In my gender sociology studies at Arizona State University, I was given the opportunity to create something informative based on our course learnings.  I chose something that gave name to something many of us experience. I chose to let others help me tell the story. I hope you learn something new and that you let that new learning shift how you see our society and our gender experiences. It's up to each of us to stay curious and keep educating ourselves.
