A mid-1970s sitcom that I remember watching regularly as a kid. Little did I know that I would grow up to sort of do what they were doing. As a matter of fact, I have seen Barney Miller described as "the most realistic cop show on TV" and, oddly enough, in a lot of ways it's sort of true. A pretty awesome cast of characters on this better than average sitcom. Let's talk about Barney Miller.
