This week Sharon Taylor, Baroness Taylor of Stevenage, joins me to discuss the importance of local government to change communities for the better. 

Sharon also shares a behind the scenes into the government's plans to get Britain building again, what that means for local areas and how it will give opportunity for younger generations. 

Sharon is a genuinely lovely as well as very experienced and talented Labour politician. She is exactly the sort of person we need in the House of Lords.  

She not only brings her skills to work in Parliament but she is also a proud champion for her home town of Stevenage.
