So we're wrapping up the book, and after Cordelia manages to get back and toss the head of her foe onto the table like a fucking death goddess, we see the "birth" of her son and the marriage of Drou and Kou. Miles, as it turns out, does sustain a lot of damage from the soltoxin attack and it's going to be along road for him.
