Mathew 27:50-54 BlB
And Jesus, having cried again in a loud voice, yielded up His spirit. 51And behold, the veil of the temple was torn into two from top to bottom. And the earth was shaken, and the rocks were split. 52And the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints having fallen asleep arose. 53And having gone forth out of the tombs after His resurrection, they entered into the holy city and appeared to many.
54And the centurion and those with him keeping guard over Jesus, having seen the earthquake and the things taking place, feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was God’s Son.”
