Although football is getting all the headlines, MLB is geared up for an exciting week.  With about 10 games left, the National League playoff teams are pretty much set. At the start of this show, the Chicago Cubs magic number is only one.  This means that another win or a San Francisco Giant loss, and new manager Joe Maddon will have his Cubs in the postseason. The excitement will be in the NL Central Division.  Will the St. Louis Cardinals hang on and win the division?  Can the Chicago Cubs pass the Pittsburgh Pirates and host the wildcard game?

The Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers have a little breathing room, leading their respective divisions by 3.5 games. The New York Yankees have a four game lead in the AL Wildcard.  The Los Angeles Angels and Minnesota Twins are just 1.5 games behind the Houston Astros.  Can the Astros hold on and make the postseason?
