This episode is with Miami's special gem, @Coffintexts!  Alex is aproducer / Dj who has been actively working under the name Coffintexts, involved in several unique styles of music. Prior to quarantine, she was consistently playing eclectic events in the area, and preparing for a now postponed show with iiipoints. She is currently working on an electronic project that is going to be released this summer, in addition to some exciting collaborations! We spoke to her about every corner + niche of Miami she's played and how important it is to use your platform during this time. 

She grew up in Miami to a healthy mix of metal, hip-hop and Peruvian ballads. She was able to connect with other tastemakers in Miami and talks to us about her mentors and label-mates Paperwater on WetPaper Records. We love this quote where "COFFIN was found hiding out at a local Sam Ash store, practicing on cdj’s years before this technically talented dj first distilled her secret brew." She is extremely creative and it shows in the mix she provided for us today. Please enjoy and imagine yourself at your favorite underground rave.
