Finishing Daniel chapter 5, we look at wisdom.
We examine the historical accuracy of Belshazzar and the assurance of the authority of God's Word as a result.
We look at the lesson of humility taught to Nebuchadnezzar.
We study the steadfast faith of three Hebrew boys as they serve God rather than man.
We look at the nations in Nebuchadnezzar's first dream. We close looking at the most important kingdom, the Kingdom of God established by Jesus.
We examine some key principles identified from scripture regarding the interpretation of prophecy.
While Daniel prays for the mercy of God in the revelation of Neduchadnezzar's dream we examine the foundations of our practice of prayer. We also join Daniel in his worship of God and look at worship of God for who He is and not what he does for us.
We take the opportunity that the text presents us to look into dreams and find encouragement that God is very near.
We conclude our study of Daniel 1 highlighting the faithful deliverance of the righteous by God Himself.
We see Daniel taking a stand of faith and making an appeal to his God ordained authority. We take a look at standing in faith and what the implications of doing so may be. We finish with the encouragement that service to our Lord Jesus is always worth it.
