Laila Samuels is an artist and songwriter from Oslo, Norway. She was the lead singer of The Tuesdays, and has since 1998 written more than 300 songs for other artists, taken part in Melodi Grand Prix as a solo artist and done collaborations with other artists, such as Ravi, Vinni and the Vagabonds, Curse and We Kings  and songwriter Jonas Shandel launched the duo Shandel & Samuels in 2019.
