Dr Scarlett Smash and Dr Craken chat with Dr Chelsea Gray about some of the latest research on basking sharks. Despite being the second largest shark, or indeed fish, in the ocean, until recently we've known very little about the behavior and biology of basking sharks. Dr Gray gives us some of thehighlight of the international basking shark conference that was held in Galway, Ireland and some of the recent conservation sucesses to protect this mysterious species.
