Basma, a Beirut, Lebanon-based digital dental startup, secured US $1.2M in seed funding.
The round was led by B&Y Venture Partners and Cedar Mundi Ventures, with participation from iSME and various business angels.
The company intends to use the funds and accelerate expansion in the MENA region.
Rather than visiting the orthodontist every month to have braces painfully adjusted, the company send users a series of orthodontist-prescribed aligners to home.
