When this first came out my Mom wouldn't let me go see it because it was to violent. So a year later or whenever the VHS came out a babysitter looked me dead in the face and asked are you allowed to watch this? Putting the responsibility on me the child freaking wild. I rose to the occasion and said calmly "yes." AND THEN IT WAS BATMAN TIME. 6 year old me thought this movie was rad and there were parts I didn't understand 30 years later nothing has changed.
