Former 2x All-Star and 2x NL Silver Slugger Award winner Howard Johnson joins this episode of Bats Left Throws Right. Drafted 12th overall by the Detroit Tigers in 1979, "HoJo" would go on to win a pair of World Series rings while in Detroit. He spent nine of his 14 MLB seasons with the New York Mets, with whom he led the NL in both home runs and RBIs during the 1991 season. A switch hitter and righty thrower during his career, Howard is third on the Mets all-time lists for home runs, RBIs, doubles, and stolen bases.
