We're back again Josh Butler and myself to dissect and breakdown the high points and low points from Round 2 and look ahead to see which teams can bounce back and which will keep their momentum going forward.

The highlights were Carlton's key forward duo of Curnow and McKay making a statement and keeping the Carlton bandwagon rolling, Buddy's 1000th and the chaos that ensued, a Hawks boilover and on the flipside what's up with Port?

From a WA perspective, a chance to secure two wins on the trot for Fremantle went begging thanks to a Max King/Jack Higgins third term that turned the game on its head and despite a 40D effort from Andrew Brayshaw it just wasn't enough. To West Coast, to lose by 15 points with 14 changes, 4 COVID top up players, two debuts and plenty of fringe and 40th-44th players on the list making up the team. Willie's 4 goals were the highlight.

What a derby it pertains to be, but all will depend on the ins and outs, who comes out or goes back into COVID protocols and it will be a long way back for the loser.
