Copper is developing battery-equipped appliances, where a battery and an appliance are coupled into one. Copper just released, Charlie, the world's first energy storage equipped induction range.

Sam Calisch is co-founder and CEO of Copper. Previously, Sam helped start Rewiring America, a nonprofit focused on electrification, where he was the head of Special Projects. He is a MIT PhD, a former Activate research fellow, and is one of the true experts in the electrification movement.
