In the Old Testament we find God directing His people to wage war on evil and heathen nations. In order to do so, Israel would become trained and equipped for the battle that lied ahead. We may no longer wage a physical war as God's people today, but certainly we are surrounded by spiritual attack on every side. Yet, God's plan was that just like Israel of old, we would be well trained and equipped to overcome our defeated foe.
