Week Three of our Lenten series brings us to the Breastplate of Righteousness.  As armor, the breastplate protects the chest and heart. The spiritual armor of the breastplate protects our heart from spiritual harm and the consequences of sin.  We know that our own righteous acts are no match for Satan's attacks. But we need frequent reminders.
