This week on the podcast, we catch up with the builder behind the biggest BattleBot to ever grace the BattleBox—Mammoth captain Ricky Willems!

 

Ricky is a tinkerer at heart, and spent his childhood taking apart basically anything he could get his hands on. That eventually translated into his career as an electrical engineer, and his hobby, building unconventional combat robots. We learn more about the 2020 build of Mammoth, and his season so far, following a massive win over HUGE and a fiery loss to HyperShock.
