Religion is a theme that strangely connects the two films we're talking about today. Malik is a film where a local gangster oscillates between lawlessness and religious fulfilment. It's a story of survival told by way of humanising a Godfather-like figure. Toofan sports film that everybody wanted but nobody needed.
