Concerning the virtues commanded to be added upon faith Peter said, “For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins” (2 Peter 1:9). Spiritual shortsightedness is a destructive problem that we must battle continually. This sermon considers the cause, effects, and a prescription for spiritual shortsightedness.
