Al Gore launches Current.tv, but in the vaults of the BBC lay a gene of programming excellence for young people.
Reportage shook the industry when it was first launched in the late 80s and passed away in the mid 90s, but it was a tour de force. Young people producing for themselves, despite its often miniscule audience on BBC 2.
David Dunkley Gyimah was one of the reporters and here looks back on an item about the Brain Drain in Britain.
The Financial Times ran a story recently about how the UK was producing less science graduates to support healthy research.
