On this week of Bakers Bantering, the family comes together to grieve the loss of beloved Mimi Warren. Thankfully the episode begins and finishes on a lighter note, with plenty of love and memories shared throughout. Speaking of love, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce continue to make headlines as Jenna continues her belief in the strength of their relationship, and Valerie appears to be hopping on the bandwagon as well. Katy dyes her hair, and shoutout to our guy Rusty Morris Designs because we now have MERCH! (0:34-10:48). It was a tough week in the Baker house with the passing of Valerie’s mother, Mimi Warren. Derek and Katy received immense support from their respective coworkers. Jenna admires her mothers strength, and Valerie explains where she got it from (11:23-23:23). There were so many gracious angels that helped throughout the week that all seemed to have some sort of family connection. If Mimi could have written her own script, this would’ve been it, holding her faith and independence until the very end. Derek has stayed strong all week, and Mimi’s church hosted a beautiful memorial in her honor (23:57-36:58). Valerie shares some moving, final remarks about her mother, including a beautiful, bittersweet ending. Derek shares how he intends to honor Mimi Warren to the wrestling world. Special thanks to everyone who has shown us love and support this week (37:03-55:50). There is no lack of emotion in the Weekly Wrestling Wrap Up, as Derek has some strong words for Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, and The Judgement Day. The tofu comments continue during AEW highlights (1:09:19-1:24:25). Derek shares his excitement and his disappointment in two big SmackDown headlines; Damage CTRL adds two new members (and Derek wants them to add another, Becky Lynch), and Santos Escobar turns on Rey Mysterio. The anticipation for War Games continues to build (1:24:28-1:42:46).
