This week on Bakers Bantering, we recap our awesome night backstage at AEW Collision and make our predictions for the Royal Rumble! Derek couldn’t wait for the Weekly Wrestling Wrap Up to acknowledge the one and only, Roman Reigns. More importantly, Jenna acknowledges Derek for multiple nights with over 6 hours of sleep on the CPAP (1:17-7:30). Katy was recognized for her Baker Banter fame at school. The Kelce conversation continues, centered around Jason and his friendly antics at the Chiefs versus Bills game, which the Chiefs won of course. Valerie proposes a bet between Ellis and Derek for the AFC Championship game (7:31-14:59). Derek shined as the defensive leader of his basketball team at the Special Olympics. Jenna and Valerie detail a tough week with Mimi Warren’s house hitting the market, but she uplifted them by painting a beautiful sky one evening. We reminisce on Derek’s bravery for testing out Mocha and Josie’s electric fence collar (15:00-27:36). We had an incredible evening backstage and in the arena for AEW Collision. First of all, the catering went above and beyond expectations, especially because superstars were constantly coming in and out of the dining area. Derek met the so-called Bang Bang Scissor Gang and Ricky Starks, showed off his moves to Daniel Garcia, and so much more (27:38-36:55). We kick off the Weekly Wrestling Wrap Up with AEW recaps and work our way into the live action we saw at Collision. Seeing the Bang Bang Scissor Gang in action was a dream, and prediction, come true for Derek (37:11-53:30). Last week we talked about TNA Wrestling, and this week Derek informs us there is yet another wrestling league, this one is overseas, called New Japan Pro Wrestling. Derek feels the love between a couple of NXT Superstars. SmackDown ramps up the Royal Rumble intensity, and we watched in tandem with all of our fans on TikTok live  (53:32-1:05:07). We get a Seth Rollins injury update, and finally, Derek provides his predictions for both the Men and Women’s Royal Rumble, which we’ll be seeing live in person in Tampa Bay (1:05:08-1:14:16).
