This week on Bakers Bantering, Baker Banter Mom’s mom, Mimi Warren, joins the show! Jenna takes us through her exhilarating experience at her first St. Louis CITY soccer match, running into producer Ellis at the game, and her 5 year anniversary with her boyfriend, prompting Derek to question if the ring is on the horizon (00:58-16:58). Derek brings up another anniversary involving our good friend “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, and continues with the “dirty” theme after an unfortunate mishap at softball involving his friend. In a complete turn of events, the family trip to the river for Labor Day weekend ended on an extra clean slate after Jenna saves Derek from a bathroom sink fiasco (17:23-25:03). The whole family, including Mimi Warren, enjoyed a great weekend at the river, even though Eric had a couple of mishaps with the boat and Derek got into it with Uncle Scott. Thankfully, as Valerie and Mimi describe, the whole community around the river are always more than happy to lend a helping hand (25:18-40:06). Mimi shares her experiences growing up in New Hampshire, starring on her basketball team, but not so much in her algebra class, and reveals where Derek might’ve gotten his love for wrestling. She reminisces about moving to Missouri, what Valerie was like growing up, and what she thinks about Baker Banter (40:08-1:12:55). In the Weekly Wrestling Wrap Up, Derek details some subtractions and new additions to the AEW roster. Dom is barred from ringside, but Valerie doesn’t think that’ll stop him. Jey Uso is back like he never left, and Derek shares how he feels about Jey and Sami Zayn hugging it out. Finally, we announce a special guest for our next episode, one of our first friends from the wrestling world (1:13:30-1:36:28).
