Today we’re talking about the important role your emotions play in your health. We used to think that genes were responsible for mental health “issues” but we see now that is not the case.
We are not simply biological beings, we are not just made of flesh, we are not just biochemical, or psychological either. We are humans who are made of our flesh, our experiences, our environment both inside and outside of us.
We are made of the culture and society we are part of… we are made to adapt and so we do. We adapt and shape ourselves around the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual environment around us.
If we don’t know how to identify and process our emotions we do not know how to self-regulate and because most of our mental health diagnosis are actually made up of state regulation issues… this is IMPORTANT!
