Today we're talking mental toughness and everything you thought it was. Strong may not be what you were taught, I know it's not the defensive protective mechanism I grew up believing.
I grew up learning that being tough and strong meant that you ignored your needs, and put yourself aside, that you somehow became a needless human unaffected by the experiences of life.
The thing is, we are human and ignoring all that makes us human just makes us less efficient and less able to fully experience what it's all about.
