The last week was a roller coaster ride for me, as I navigated through the waves of anxiety, fear, and acceptance that come along with a seizure. A trip to the emergency room, a suggestion for a new medication and the discomforting realisation of my own fears of acknowledging my medical condition. 

But the silver lining was my renewed understanding of acceptance. Acceptance, I realised, is a choice we make, a resolution to embrace our differences, and the first crucial step towards personal growth and development.
