In this episode we're talking about the fact that just because you have a surplus of energy you don't need to spend it, just because you have extra time doesn't mean you need to fill it. It is not only ok, but sometimes crucial that we build a buffer, like an energy savings account. If we're always running ourselves down to empty we aren't leaving room for the inevitable life happenings that will come along and require our time and energy.
It is ok and I will say encouraged (by me, and others who know what's up) to just let yourself be, but this can be difficult if you don't find yourself to be good company. If you've built a relationship with yourself based on self-loathing, disgust, dislike, criticism, etc. You may not find yourself to be very pleasant company.
Letting yourself just be means you're going to be there alone with yourself. Without chasing the distractions of spending all of your time and energy you're left with yourself and your pain and reflection of yourself, maybe some things you don't like and this can be hard AF.
Get in there and give it a listen.
