Today we're talking about stress mindset and how to build resilience to our stressors. It might surprise you to know that just the way you think about stress can change the physiological affect it has.
We've been told over and over again that stress is harmful, this isn't wrong but it's not the whole story. We need stress, there is no such thing as a stress free life.
If we step back and look at how we view the daily events in our lives we can look at how we are participating in our stress, are we giving meaning to the events and experiences of our lives or are we seeing everything as an inconvenience that is standing in the way of our happiness and non existent stress free life.
This isn't just me over here saying think positive and everything will be ok, there are measurable markers like hormone levels and heart rate that change depending on how we view stress.
So, what's your stress mindset and how is it helping or hurting you?
Get in there and give it a listen!
