Today's episode we're talking about wellness as an action rather than a state of being. It's easy to look at someone else and think, they're just fit or they're naturally calm, or whatever it is that we see that looks easy to them.... but that thing most likely took a lot of time and intentional effort.
When we use self-care or pay attention to our body and mind only when there is a problem, like most of us do, we are showing up a little too late and trying to use self-care as a crisis intervention when it needs to be our consistent practice so we don't reach the injury or crisis mode to begin with!
Today I share a few things in my life that have helped me to understand this and practice my nervous system hygiene.
