In this special episode, Greg & Marc sit down with Assistant Director, Larry Katz. Larry talks about his time getting a coveted internship with the Director’s Guild of America Training Program and also being an instructor at Full Sail University, where he graduated from in 2000. Larry recounts his path to becoming an Assistant Director on big-budget movies such as “Captain America: The First Avenger”, “X-Men: First Class” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” to name just a few. He talks about his time on these movies as well as some of the television work he has done. He tells a very cool story about visiting the set of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” at Pinewood Studios in England and if you are a die-hard Star Wars nerd, you will love this story. He also talks about the time he acted opposite someone who has been nominated for a record 21 Oscars and won three of them (yes, it’s Meryl Streep, who else?!).
