BC approves rezone on north Main Street

The Brigham City Council approved a zoning change to allow for future townhome development on a 4.5-acre parcel at 1255 N. Main Street. The council unanimously voted to rezone the property from A-1 (agricultural) to R-M-7 (multiple residential), aligning the site with Brigham City’s general plan and nearby medium-density neighborhoods. The request was submitted by Garth Day of Heritage Land Development, whose concept plan shows an intent to develop townhomes on the site. The R-M-7 zone allows for up to seven dwelling units per acre and is one of the city’s designated medium-density residential zones, along with R-1-6. Bradley said...
