The presence of God was far away. Men trudged under the weight of an unbearable, unreasonable, impossible law. Imposed and enforced by a religion whose only power was death, all else was little more than forms and regulations. Wretched hypocrites held stones, eager to launch demise in the direction of any man caught failing the unliveable law. Hearts were dry and parched. Souls were withered with pain, anxiety and grief. Minds were tormented without resolve. This was the landscape of humanity... until one man arrived on the scene. This was the earth..... BEFORE CHRIST....
