Brigham City Council on May 15 approved a resolution authorizing contracts for a proposed natural gas power generation facility, advancing the project toward construction while leaving final financial commitments pending further approvals. The facility, designed to provide on-demand electricity during periods of high market prices, would be built within Brigham City near Mayor’s Pond.
